Banksy Girl With The Pierced Eardrum Bristol

On a recent visit to Bristol I photographed a 3 year old Banksy that I hadn't visited before, based on the famous work Girl with a Pearl Earring by Johannes Vermeer and cleverly retitled Girl With The Pierced Eardrum. Nice to see it in good shape even after 3 years.

Exeter Quay Banners

I was commissioned to photograph Exeter Quay for banners to fit on to HERAS fencing while the flood defence works are taking place all over winter, the aim is to show what the quay usually looks like and to encourage people to visit businesses that are trading as usual in spite of the upheaval.

Here are photos of the banners in place and below some of the photos chosen...

Exeter Heritage Open days

This year I visited a few venues as part of Exeter Heritage Open Days, unfortunately I didn't take my camera for the visits to Devon & Exeter Institution and St Anne's Church as it was raining heavily but on Sunday I visited the Tuckers Hall and St Nicholas Priory with the camera.

Firstly Tuckers Hall, A 15th century chapel converted to a meeting hall in the 16th century. It is the only surviving trades guild in Exeter, home of Exeter’s guild of ‘Weavers, Fullers and Shearmen’. Featuring oak panelled walls dating from the 17th century and the original wagon roof.

Then I visited St Nicholas Priory west wing which featured a large Tudor Kitchen, Parlour, stone-pillared Cellar and a Chamber above the Parlour.
